Bro Speak

The Bro Speak (Bingayi Dingayi) Program is up and running again at KHS. The Bro Speak program was launched at KHS during Term 3 2023 and consists of a group of Aboriginal male students who were selected to listen and learn from Aboriginal men, teachers and each other. The Bro Speak program's main goal is to get the students to take pride in what they do at school and in the wider community.

Throughout the program the students learn how to be strong in their Aboriginal identity, know about their culture and to get the students to believe in themselves and have the confidence to reach their goals.

The activities during Term 1 2024 have included a Smoking ceremony with the new boys to the program. The yarning circle inside, language and each week we will finish with a guided meditation and breathwork.
