Early finish reminder

A reminder that school finishes at 2pm today. Kelly Club will be running for families that require the service. 

Have a happy holiday break and we look forward to seeing you in Term 2 on Monday 15th April.

School Photos

School photos have been rescheduled to Tuesday 7th May. Our group photos and catch-up portrait and sibling photos will be taken on the day. 

Winter Jackets

Orders for our 2024 Winter jackets are open on QKR. The jackets are made from waterproof nylon with concealed hood, full zip front with storm flap for protection and are polar fleece lined with elastic cuffs for warmth and will have the Ceres logo on the front. Please see the attached flyer for further information.

Unfortunately, samples were unable to be supplied. Please refer to the size guide on the product information below. 

Orders are due Wednesday 17th April. 

Foundation Primary Schools Nursing Program

The Primary Schools Nursing Program is designed to identify children with potential health-related learning difficulties and to respond to parent/carer concerns and observations about their child's health and wellbeing. Parents or carers of Foundation students can complete the School Entrant Health Questionnaire (SEHQ) via the QR code on the brochure sent home. With parent/carer consent, follow-up health assessments are conducted by the school nurse as indicated.

Please ensure these questionnaires are completed before students return in Term 2.

Fresh Meal Fairy Canteen

Our Friday Canteen service will return in Term 2! A reminder that orders are placed through the new Flexischools app. 

 

Music Bus lessons

The Music Bus visits our school every Thursday morning.  

Lessons are available in:

· Keyboard (Prep-y6)

· Ukulele  (Prep   - y6)

· Drums (y1 -y6)

· Guitar (Y2 - y6)

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities such as school camps, excursions, swimming, sports events and incursions. 

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. A special consideration category also exists. Schools can receive applications until 23 June 2024.
