Can you believe that Term 1 is nearly over, how quick did that go? I am sure all of the children are looking forward to a visit from the Easter Bunny these holidays!

On Monday 18th March, the Fete Committee hosted a cheese & wine information night where we learnt all about the OLA Fete that will be held later this year. It was so lovely to see some familiar faces and many new faces that are ready to get involved and bring lots of new ideas to the table. We are all aware of how much the children love our amazing Fete and the team will work very hard to create a wonderful community event, which will result in revenue to be contributed towards items/initiatives on our fundraising wishlist.

On Tuesday 19th March, we came together in celebration for Mrs Taig as she prepares for her next big adventure into motherhood. We were honoured to present her with a few items that we purchased through the generosity of family contributions. Mrs Taig expressed her gratitude for our thoughtfulness, kind words & warm support that she had received. We send Caitlan and Rick our best wishes!

Don’t forget the OLA Easter Raffle, tickets are due back by the 25th March and prizes will be drawn at the end of term assembly on 28th March. Thank you so much to those that have already donated Easter goodies and there is still time for those that would like to. Wishing the OLA community a wonderful Easter and relaxing school holidays spending time with those dear to you.
