Janine Bain

Friday 15th September

All of the students in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 have been participating in the Athletics Program during Term 3. Last week they were able to apply their skills in the final competition between faction groups. The throwing for distance, long jump, triple jump, and 400m events were held over the first three days of the competition. On Friday, was the highly anticipated Faction Carnival. Students marched onto the high school oval to begin a morning of testing their skill and stamina against each other as they rotated through different events. After lunch, the competition continued with the 200m run, leader ball challenge, relay teams, and the all-important whole team tug-o-war events.

The students were amazing in their efforts and supportive of each other. Thank you to the teachers conducted all of the events, marshaled, judged, recorded, and cheered. The parents won this year's pass ball challenge. Thank you, to all the parents, who made cakes for the amazing P&C Cake stall.  It was a fantastic day to bring our school community together. Thank you to everyone who participated.
