Junior Sports News 

Thursday 14th September

We were very fortunate to have dodged most of the inclement weather last Thursday for the Junior Athletics Carnival. Students from Kindergarten, Pre-Primary, Year 1, and Year 2 actively participated in fun-filled events, including tabloids, novelty events, ball games, and sprinting. These activities are the consolidation of skills that students have been learning and practising in the sports program throughout 2023.

It was wonderful to see so many students wearing their faction shirts and competing with enthusiasm. All students displayed great sportsmanship and encouraged their fellow team members.

A very big thank you to all the families who came to watch their amazing children participate in the day.

Thank you to the Teachers, Allied Professionals, Administration, Faction Captains, Year 6 students from Room 3, WSHS Year 11 Work Experience Students, and Mr Scott who helped to make the Carnival a big success. Thanks also to the P&C for managing a yummy cake stall.
