HOSA Sports Day 2023

Congratulations to all the staff who came out in support of both our Student and HOSA teams on Sunday. It was an amazing day with the students taking the glory over the crafty but aging HOSA teams.

A special thank you to the coaches: Belinda, Tamara, James Ryan, Stefan, Anthony, Rodney, Connick, Julieanne, Geoff Hardcastle and Michael who did such a fine job coaching our students and preparing them for the day. The Men’s Basketball in particular went down to the wire with Michael X securing victory for the students with a 3 pointer in the dying seconds.

Thank you also to those staff who so willingly helped with the many jobs on offer on the day. Thanks to Barbara, Jo and Ruby for running the BBQ and to Jackson for snapping photos at every event. A special shout-out to those who came to encourage the teams – your support was most appreciated.

Finally, none of it would have been possible without the oversight of Mel and the co-ordination of Tamara and Jo to make sure teams were ready, umpires employed and scorers in place.

It was a fun day and I am most grateful to everyone who made it possible.

Don’t forget to congratulate the students when you see them as the glory belongs to them – for a year at least!

Reunions

This past weekend there were 3 HOSA reunions held as the Class of 2013, 2018 and 2022 celebrated their 10, 5 and 1 Year reunions.

On Saturday September 9, the Class of 2013 hosted their reunion at the Notting Hill Hotel, and the Class of 2018 enjoyed theirs at the Rogue Squire.

While the Class of 2022 hosted their reunion of Sunday September 10 at the Nott as well.

All the reunions this weekend were very well attended and the committees of HT Grads who organised the vents did a fabulous job getting everyone excited for the catch ups. Great seeing some old faces and peers reuniting!
