P&F

Term 3 is done and dusted, the year is flying.

‘VALUING CONNECTIONS’

Fathers Day Breakfast:

On the 1st of September the Junior School kids brought their Dad’s to school for a fresh cooked breakfast and then showed them through their classrooms. A big thanks to all the helpers who cooked up and served around 120 Bacon and Egg Rolls and a heap of Oat and fruit cups.

The Junior School Council will again be called upon to choose a male based charity to donate $875 raised by this event.

Footy Finals Pie Drive:

The Pies arrived yesterday, thanks for coming and picking them up. I hope you enjoy them during the footy finals or whenever you decide to eat them. I think a lot of HT families ate pies last night. Thanks for your support. We will let you know early next term where the funds raised will be used.

Spring Concert:

The Choral and Orchestral sections put on an amazing concert last night to help celebrate the Year 12 musicians last event. From classics to jazzy numbers culminating in an amazing version of one of my favourite songs – ‘Eleanor Rigby’. The music department should be proud of their achievements and it was a pleasure to support with a popup candy bar at intermission.

I hope everyone has a relaxing September holidays and enjoys the footy finals fever in Melbourne.

Good luck to all the Year 12s who will be practicing exams and studying hard for their last push towards their final exams. And to the Team Year 12 parents, the stressing is nearly done.

Keep an eye on HT Connect where we will update you all on everything P&F including details of our Christmas Carols scheduled for the evening of 1st December.

Stay safe and we hope to see your smiles around the school soon.
