Year 7 Science

Our recent topic of Space has taken students on a learning journey that is out of this world, learning about planets, features of our Solar System and the Universe. Closer to home, students have also been learning how the movement of the Earth, Moon and Sun creates day and night, seasons, moon phases and tides.

One of the fun and tasty practical activities students participated in was modelling the Moon's phases using Oreo biscuits.

Next term, learning will be more down to earth, learning about Classification, Food Webs and Habitats. As part of this topic, students will participate in an excursion to Melbourne Zoo. Don't forget to have your payment and consent completed before the end of this Term!
