21st - 29th October
Get ready to put on your walking shoes, hop on your bike, or scoot to school because the Walk to School Competition 2023 is here!
When: Children’s week 21 - 29 October
This competition aims to empower students to develop healthy, active habits and celebrate their right to engage in activities they enjoy.
As we embrace the Childrens Week 2023 theme, “Children have the right to relax, play and take part in activities they enjoy,” we recognise that there are various ways for children to engage in healthy habits while having fun.
Objective:
Our primary aim is to encourage students to lead healthy, active lives while emphasising their right to engage in enjoyable activities. Whether they choose to walk, ride, scoot or incorporate other healthy habits they enjoy, this competition is all about promoting physical activity, relaxation, and play as essential components of a child’s life.
Here’s why you should encourage your students to participate:
Competition:
Students from all year levels are encouraged to participate in celebrating active, healthy lives.
Participants can choose to walk, ride, scoot, or engage in other healthy activities of their choice during competition week.
