Nossal's Wind Symphony Also Awarded Gold at Victorian School Music Festival 

On Friday 25 August, Ms Sally Haworth and myself had the pleasure of taking 40 students from the Nossal Wind Symphony to the Victorian School Music Festival at the Hawthorn Arts Centre. 

The ensemble performed three pieces, and listened to two other ensembles perform. The chief adjudicator gave our ensemble some feedback on their performance and conducted a short workshop with them on stage. It was wonderful to see the comradery and enthusiasm from our students during the festival. 

The students were rewarded with a Gold Certificate, which is a fabulous achievement. A big thank you to Ms Haworth and Ms Oliver on their wonderful work with the Wind Symphony, and congratulations to the Wind Symphony students for their dedication to weekly rehearsals and a fantastic performance.
