IMPORTANT REMINDER: VTAC Course application payment deadline – 28 September 2023

Year 12s must pay their VTAC course application processing fee to be able to change their course preferences within the specified periods, be eligible for course offers and to ensure their earlier deadline applications (early closing courses, SEAS and Scholarships) are considered. Payment is due 28 September and is done within the student’s VTAC account – instructions have been provided to Year 12s on making payment along with guidance on applying through VTAC in the Class of 2023 Careers channel on Teams.

Term 3 STEAM Careers Online Forum: Innovation and Future Industries 

Showcasing transdisciplinary careers relating to innovation and future industries and panellists including people working in the space sector, trying to discover dark matter, and using seaweed to reduce methane emissions. La Trobe invite you to visit their Melbourne campus to take a guided tour with a La Trobe student. AIE Industry Experience Days

 – September 20 to October 4, 2023 

AIE’s Industry Experience Day is a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation and visual effects industries. Students will get the opportunity to learn about the different pathways to get into the industry, what should be in a portfolio and will be able to get creative in practical workshops using industry-standard 3D animation and game development tools. Monash Nursing and Midwifery tour 

– Thursday 21 September, 11am to 12pm

Students are invited to visit and experience the Nursing and Midwifery facilities at Monash’s Peninsula campus during the upcoming school holidays. Register here

Chadstone Career Expo 

– Wednesday 4 October, 3pm to 5pm
