GREATER WESTERN REGIONAL TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETICS

Congratulations to the nine Miners Rest students who proudly represented our school at Llanberris on Friday at the Regional Athletics Competition. All students who progressed to this level showed great talent be competing against students at this very competitive level.

Jet K - 100m, 200m

Georgia F - 100m

Airlie F - long jump

Ruby H - triple jump

Addalyn P - shot put

Misty P - high jump

Cooper W - triple jump

Special congratulations to Mia G, Airlie F and Jet K who all performed exceptionally at Llanberris and have now progressed through to the State Championships to be held in Melbourne on November 1. Mia and Airlie finished 2nd in their long jump events and Jet placed 2nd in his 200m event. We wish them all the very best for the State Championships.

Many thanks to the wonderful support of the parents and students who attended the sports last Friday. It was such a proud moment to see everyone offering support for each other. Congratulations.
