Fundraising

So far we have raised $22300!

This year our major fundraiser is the Colour Run. It will be held on Friday 20th October here at LPS. There will be two runs, a junior run and a senior run.  It is always a fun filled day and the school is a buzz on this day. Please ask grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, friends for donations. Let's raise much needed funds to go towards painting our farm.

The powder we will use consists of cornstarch mixed with food dyes.

The exact ingredients depend on the product variety but may include: Acid Yellow 23, C.I. Food Yellow 3, C.I.Food Red 14, C.I. Food Red 3, C.I. Food Red 7, Acid Blue 9 and C.I. Food Blue 1. These dyes are present at <1% and are considered non-hazardous.

Children participating and wishing to be subjected to powder must wear a white tshirt.

If you do NOT want your child to be exposed to powder, please send an email to langwarrin.ps@education.vic.gov.au Students wishing to run but not have powder thrown at them can still participate by wearing a yellow tshirt. 

Tshirts can be purchased at Kmart or Big W for less than $5.

All students will be given eye protection to wear.
