Walk-a-thon

Amazing Walk-a-thon today with many students dressing up as their favourite Hero, Champion they admire or who inspires them, great participation and sponsorship from our community. 

 

The sponsorship portal is RAISELY and will be opened for donations and sponsorship until Thursday 12th October 5pm.  You can also come to the office and complete on the sponsorship form. Remember to ‘Join a team’  to see which class will be the winners of the trophy (to be announced at next week’s assembly).  Here is the Link: https://2023walkathon.raisely.com/ 

 

Congratulations to the following students on their Dress up efforts today:

Harrison Prep R- Superman is my hero because he helps people.

Violet 2K- My dad inspires me because he is always kind.

Edison 4J- Steve Irwin inspires  me and is my hero because his favourite animal is the same as mine and it is the crocodile and he was one of the best wild life protectors in the world.

Nadia 5J- Ash Barty inspires me because she inspires young kids to follow their dream.

Scholastic Book Club

Issue 7 has now been distributed.  

Athletics

Beaumaris Primary had eleven students represent the school in the Kingston division carnival.

Steffan, Taylah and Charlotte in shotput,

Archer in high jump,

Jade Joseph and James in discus,

Polly and Saskia in hurdles,

Polly in long jump,

Polly in the 200m 

And Harry in the 800m
