Fresh north Queensland Kensington Pride mangoes direct from the farm to you!
4.5kg tray (approx. 9 to 14) mangoes for $24/tray • Delivery early December • Hurry- Qkr! Orders close on 24th October 10:00am, no late orders accepted • Money raised will be used to purchase or upgrade school equipment and support PFA activities
School Disco - Get your dancing shoes ready for a night of disco fun at WPS!
Friday November 10 is a chance for the kids to celebrate the year and hang out with their friends whilst dancing to their favourite songs in the school hall!
- Prep–2 3.30 ~ 4.45pm
- Yrs 3 & 4 5 ~ 6.15 pm
- Yrs 5 & 6 6.30 ~ 7.45 pm
Tickets available now on Qkr for only $2.50!!
Includes entry, juice box and fruit platter
Tickets close Friday 3rd November at 4pm. No late tickets accepted.
Parent volunteers are needed to run the event, please - volunteer sign-up.
We’d love to know which songs your kids would like to hear at the disco! If you’d like to suggest some songs for the disco playlist, you can do that here - it could be fun to pick some songs with your child!
PFA Referendum Stall
On Saturday the 14th Oct the PFA ran a stall at the WPS Polling booth. We are very appreciative of Adam’s organisation running the BBQ and the team of helpers who assisted on the stall. The cake sale was very popular and we are so thankful for the donations of delicious baked goods and preserves. We will advise of the final tally soon!

New Families to Woodend Primary School
Are you new to Woodend Primary School? Did you know we have a Parent Class Contact List and WhatsApp groups for each class, moderated by a volunteer parent Class Representative. These groups enable families to connect and share information with each other, as well distribute reminders from time to time.
