Captains Corner

On Wednesday one of the School Captains did a Dyslexia Awareness speech because October is Dyslexia Awareness Month.  We are planning to do a 'red' dress up for this.  The date is still undecided.

Just a reminder that we have entered term 4 and it is getting sunnier.  That means we all need to be wearing our school hats.  If you haven't got your hat, you can buy one or spend your playtime in the shady areas at school.  If you are planning to buy one, make sure it is a wide brim school hat and don't forget to put your name on it.

This week the Year 6's have started to practise for their grad dance.  It looks amazing and is lots of fun.  Thank you, Janelle, for teaching us the dance.

On Wednesday the Year 6 students ran a fundraiser for our upcoming trip to Fun Fields. The students got into groups of 4 or 5 and worked together to create stalls. The stalls all did very well with an average item costing 60c per stall.  Altogether we raised $980.00.

With the stall money and the zooper dooper stall we ran a few weeks ago, we now have a grand total of $1200.  Well done Year 6's.
