The Preps have loved their Gymnastics sessions with Gary this week. It has been lovely to watch their skills improve and cheer each other on when they master a new activity.

We have had a very busy fortnight in Maths, completing our measurement unit with exploring Capacity with different sized containers and water. We then started a Geometry unit around 2D shapes. It has been fun learning about the special shapes of Pentagon, Hexagon and Octagon.

In Reading we have been learning about the different Genres of our readers. Fiction books tell a story and are not real. Non- Fiction books gives us information. The Preps have also enjoyed reading the Narratives that their Grade 6 buddies wrote for them. They love that they are the main characters and have to overcome a problem in the story.
