GRADE 4 EXCURSION
On Wednesday, the Grade 4’s went on an excursion to the Botanical Gardens (Gardens of the future). We saw lots of plants from all over Australia and the world, some even from Argentina! There were all kinds of grass, some were spikey. The coolest plant we saw was the Monkey Puzzle Tree, also known as the Araucaria Araucana. There were many South African plants because Africa has a similar climate to Australia. There were some normal looking trees, but some were quite rare trees and bushes. The most interesting trees were from places in a different climate because they were different to what we usually see.
