Walk-a-thon and Colour Run

IT'S BACK FOR 2025!

Last week some of our students were given prize/sponsorship booklets for the 2025 ENPS Walk-a-thon and Colour Run, a community fundraising event that will be held in the third week of Term Two, on Friday the 9th of May. More details to come through our Junior School Council!

Please note, due to a shipping error, many students have not gotten their prize booklets last week. However, all students should receive them by the end of this week. Everything in the booklets is also available online, we apologise for any inconvenience.

The booklets sent home include everything you need to know regarding how the fundraising and prize system work. A digital copy of the booklet can also be accessed, just CLICK HERE. 

Fundraising

At the end of this fundraiser, you may either order prizes to receive, or donate to a cause - Carbon Neutral (tree planting), Great Barrier Reef Foundation (coral planting or turtle protection), The Smith Family (reading support) or OzHarvest (providing meals).

The first step is to get online and create a profile page for your child, and steps are really simple from there. This will be the fifth time we have worked with Australian Fundraising, find out more about them by accessing their website https://australianfundraising.com.au/. 

All students who create a profile by next Thursday 3rd April will go in the draw to win the amazing Easter Basket pictured below! The lucky winner will be drawn at our final assembly on the last day of term.

In the past, funds raised have gone towards outdoor learning environments, such as our resurfacing project (upper basketball court), Gaga pit and new sports equipment. This year we are seeking student voice through our Junior School Council to decide how we can use this fundraiser to improve our school. A reminder that all fundraising is completely optional. All students will be able to participate on the day of the walk-a-thon regardless of how much they do or don't raise.

Exciting Additions This Year!

Our ENPS Walk-a-thon and Colour Run is a great day for everyone to come together as a community and celebrate being active. As always, the day itself will involve lots of outdoor activity, music and heaps of colour... BUT we do have some very exciting additions planned for 2025! Stay tuned - we'll certainly be upping the fun this year.
