What inspired you to work in education?

When I was in Year 10, I completed work experience at a school for students with special needs. That experience made me realise how much I love helping young people in the classroom.

What are you most proud of?

Moving to Melbourne this year! After spending the last four years in Sydney, packing my life up was challenging but I’m so glad I decided to move.

Is there anything you do regularly to promote mental and physical wellbeing?

I love going to yoga classes. I find them a great opportunity to calm my mind and reset. I also love making weird and wacky creations in the kitchen to share with my loved ones.

Do you have a standout memory from your time at primary school?

I remember my Year Six exhibition like it was yesterday! I presented on the suffragette movement and women around the world gaining the right to vote. I loved engaging with the research process, and I was so proud presenting my exhibition to the community.

Do you have any pets?

My family has a pug named Dora who will be turning 10 in May!

What is your favourite type of music?

I’m a huge Swiftie, she’s always on repeat in 6AI.

If you could travel back and witness any historical event, what would it be and why?

I’m an Australian history nut, so I would love to go back and witness Federation in 1901!

Big cities or rural adventures?

I love the craziness of big cities!

What are you enjoying most about your role at ENPS?

I’m loving how jam-packed with activities Year Six is. There’s never a dull moment which is amazing.
