Lunch Club

A Fun and Friendly Place for Everyone!

Sometimes, the yard can feel a little too busy, or you might not have a friend to play with. That’s where Lunch Club comes in! It’s a welcoming, relaxed space where you can have fun, meet new people, and try different activities. Whether you need a break from the playground or just want to do something different, Lunch Club is the place to be!

Run by our amazing Education Support staff in the undercover area, Lunch Club is on every day at recess and lunch and always has a mix of fun activities to choose from. You might get creative with arts and crafts, play games, build something cool, or join in on a special themed activity. Every week brings something new!

This week, we celebrated Cultural Diversity Week, where students explored different traditions and crafts from around the world. It was a great chance to learn, create, and celebrate the many cultures that make up our community.

We asked some of our students what they thought of Lunch Club, and here’s what they had to say:

Andi: "I like playing here because there are lots of activities, even drawing!"

Penelope: "There’s always fun activities at Lunch Club. I like playing with the blocks."

Mack: "It’s really nice at Lunch Club. They have activities you can do."

Leman: "I like to draw at Lunch Club, and sometimes I make things. I usually come every recess. Other people should come so they can have fun!"

Summer: "I like how we get to make new things. There are creative tasks. It’s good for people with no one to play with because you can meet new people and have fun!"

Lunch Club is open to everyone - so whether you love getting hands-on, enjoy a bit of quiet time, or just want to hang out with friendly faces, it is a great place to be.
