School Captains' Report

Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our third School Captains' newsletter report.
On Friday 14th March the Year Fours went on an excursion to Edenvale Farm… They are inquiring about How the World Works. While they were there, they spent time learning all about how a farm functions, by feeding the animals and learning about agriculture. We hope everyone had a wonderful time and had an even more awesome experience!
Following on from Year Six Gala Day, the cricket team seemed to find great success winning all six games and taking out the final. Great job!!! The other teams such as tennis, volleyball and softball all competed equally as well, and were happy to see that everyone had a great time.
Last week was Cultural Diversity Week and we celebrated Harmony Day on Friday. This is a great way to celebrate peace between all people. Students spent time “flying” all around the school on ENPS Airways. They learnt about all different countries' unique features, natural landscapes and different cultures, which was a great experience.
Cultural diversity is important as it differentiates us from each other, makes us all unique and teaches us to respect people no matter the difference.
Finally, congratulations to all of the Year Three and Year Five students who finished NAPLAN last week after two weeks of testing! Well done to you all.
We hope everyone has a wonderful week, and we look forward to seeing you around school.
From your School Captains,
Astin, Engy and Sam
