Health and Wellbeing

Our Foundation students have recently been inquiring into the parts of the human body and their functions. They participated in a rotation of activities whereby they were able to use the different body parts to perform a variety of actions with and without equipment.

They also learnt about the body’s amazing ability to heal itself after injury. They inquired into what happens when we cut ourselves and how a scab is formed to protect the affected area. They also learnt about how a broken bone is able to repair itself over time.
