Confirmation First Eucharist

Last Saturday evening in a packed house 25 children made the sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation. It was a very special celebration with Bishop Shane and Fr Michael concelebrating. The children read beautifully, responded clearly and were all very excited and engaged in the Mass. It was lovely to have so many family and friends join us. A special thanks to the Year 4 team for their preparation of the children and to the many staff who were able to attend and support the children. A special mention to our Choir made up of children across Prep to 6, you were a beautiful addition to our celebration. Although Fr Junjun was unable to attend due to Confirmation First Eucharist in Cobram he has played a very big role in the candidates journey and for that we are also very grateful.

 Grandparents Liturgy 

On Friday July 19 we will be celebrating the Feast of St Anne and Joachim, the Grandparents of Jesus with our Grandparents Liturgy. This will be held in the MPB at Sacred Heart College at 10am and then grandparents are welcome to return to school for a cuppa and a visit to our learning spaces. We would love to see you all join us.

As there are over 200 families in the school and many, many sets of grandparents please keep your photos to two at the most.
