Principals Report
Lord
In the midst of Winter, when the days are cold and wind can pierce, remind us of the warmth of your love. In the midst of Winter, when days are short, morning comes late, and dusk arrives early, reminding us that in the darkness your light still shines.
Amen
Dear Parents, Carers and Members of our School Community,
The end of term has occurred at a very timely time. This term has been filled with numerous significant events including the Feast of Sacred Heart Mass, Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation, Mothers Day liturgy, Grade 4 and 5 camps, excursions, parent forums, and more. I express my gratitude to our dedicated staff and supportive community for their unwavering commitment towards creating a joyful, collaborative, and fulfilling school environment at Sacred Heart. I look forward to what the second half of the year brings.
Congratulations to our 26 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation and Eucharist on Saturday. It was a wonderful celebration celebrated by Bishop Shane and Father Michael.
With the winter chill upon us, we remind you to ensure your children come to school dressed warmly. A number of students have been arriving with jumpers and warm clothing, which is fantastic. However, our lost property bin contains several unnamed jumpers. If your child is missing their school jumper, please check the lost property bin to reclaim it
There have been some reported cases of head lice in the junior grades at our school. As a preventative measure, we recommend that you consider treating your child's hair immediately if you have any concerns and during the school holidays as a precautionary measure.
EFTPOS is here!!!! Any payments you need to make can now be made at the front office.
Friday is the last day of the term with a 2.15pm finish,
I wish all our staff, students and families a safe and enjoyable term break. If you are travelling, please stay safe, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back re-energised and ready for another successful term of learning at Sacred Heart.
Take Care
Arn
