From the Year 6 Classroom

In Literacy, the students have been writing a Narrative, based on the themes of the picture story book ‘Cicada’, by Shaun Tan. 

In Numeracy, the students have continued to focus on fractions and decimals, exploring the relationship between them and how to convert from one to the other. 

In other news 

We had six students represent our school at the Division Cross Country in Benalla. Ekala Burns, Siena Gallagher, Sophia Connell, Taylor Lewis, Summer New and Amelia Coll all performed admirably and should be very proud of their efforts. We wish Summer and Amelie the best of luck at the State Championships in the first week on Term 3.

We would also like to congratulate Zane Rickhuss on making his sacrament of Eucharist and Confirmation last weekend.
