Semester 1 Reports and Teacher, Parent/Caregiver and Student Conferences 

Our teachers have been working hard to compile the 2024 Semester 1 Reports which will be distributed to families via Sentral on Monday 24 June. These reports will provide families with their child/ren's learning progress against the curriculum taught this Semester.  It will also highlight the next important steps for their future learning. 

On Tuesday 25 June wewill be holding a pupil-free day to facilitate Teacher, Parent/Caregiver and Student Conferences. Bookings  will go live at 5.00pm today. Please see the attached document for more information about the conferences and how to book a time.  Families who meet regularly with their child/ren's teacher for IEPs or SSGs are not required to book at time. We encourage families to have reviewed the report prior to their booking.

Please be advised that Miss Boucher will not be available for interviews on this day and communication will be available early in Term 3 with dates and times for 6B.

The Importance of reading your child's report

Encouraging Communication: Reading the report facilitates better communication between you, your child, and their teachers. It opens up opportunities for discussions about school experiences, goals, and expectations.

Setting Goals: Reviewing the report allows you and your child to set realistic academic and personal goals for the next semester. It helps in creating a structured plan for achieving these goals.

Motivation and Support: Showing interest in your child's education by reading their report can be very motivating for them. It demonstrates that you care about their efforts and achievements, providing them with the encouragement and support they need.

Building Responsibility: Discussing the report with your child teaches them to take responsibility for their learning. It helps them understand the importance of their education and the result of their efforts.
