Work Experience

Year 10 Students were out on work experience between  May 27 (Applied Learning) and June 3-7 (Mainstream).

Work experience provides students with the opportunity to gain some valuable insight into particular industries and assist with future course and career decisions.  Once again this year our students organised some great placements in such areas as: Accounting, Aged Care, Arts, Automotive, Aviation, Bakery, Business both large and small, Carpentry,  Council,  Childcare/Kinder, Dental, Education (University, Secondary & Primary), Electrical, Finance, Hairdressing, Hospitals, Hospitality, I.T, Manufacturing, Medical, Pharmacy, Physio, Radiography, Real Estate, Retail, Restaurants, Shipping, Solicitors, Sport, Travel, Veterinary etc .

Students can investigate chosen pathways and get real tangible experience and insight into those areas. Spending this quality time, especially with people working in the field may make all the difference in subject choices, University/Tafe choices, even career direction and more. This makes the experience a meaningful one!
