Music Office Closure

The music office will be closed from Monday 1st July until Monday 15th July. Questions in relation to fee payments should be directed straight to finance@mazenod.vic.edu.au. All other enquiries can be sent through to musicreception@mazenod.vic.edu.au and will be dealt with on our return.

Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Exams Deadline

It’s not too late to submit your son’s registration form.  Forms can be scanned and emailed musicreception@mazenod.vic.edu.au.  Forms MUST be received by the end of Term 3, Week 1 at the latest (19th July).

Semester 1 Music Fees

Semester 1 Instrumental Music Fees are now overdue. If you require a copy of your statement, please email our Finance Department (finance@mazenod.vic.edu.au). For your convenience, payments can be made online via BPoint (details on your statement). We also accept credit card and cash payments.

As per Music Department agreement, 8 weeks’ notice is required for the cancellation of Music lessons.  Fees are non-refundable unless under special circumstances which should be discussed with the Director of Music.  Any outstanding Music Fees must be finalised.

The following cut-off dates apply for the remainder of 2024:

• 11 October — to cease lessons at the end of the school year (preferred)
• 1 February 2025 — final cut-off date prior to automatic re-enrolment for Term 1, 2025

Please adhere to these dates to avoid any extra fee charges.  A copy of the Withdrawal Form can be obtained by emailing musicreception@mazenod.vic.edu.au.

Ensembles

Ensembles will commence first week back in Term 3 with Boyle Strings and Swing Band starting off on Tuesday at 7:45am.

Timetables

Term 3 timetables will be uploaded to MazCom over the holidays. Please remind your son to regularly check the music tile on MazCom to ensure he is using the most up to date version of his timetable.
