Year 8 Science  - Making Compounds Task

In year 8 Science students studied a chemistry unit on particles. They explored the structure of compounds and the chemical bond. 

During this hands-on learning task, the year 8s created various compounds and some chose to create complex compounds and really challenged themselves! 

For many students this activity was their aha moment of the unit where they finally got it! All students enjoyed having a task that they could learn using their hands.
