Food Technology

This semester, our Food Technology classes embarked on an exciting culinary journey, exploring diverse cuisines from around the world. 

 

Our focus was not only on creating delicious dishes but also on enhancing our knowledge of making healthy food choices.

 

In celebration of our special link with Italy, we dedicated a session to making cannoli, the iconic Italian pastry. Students learned the delicate process of preparing the crispy shells and creamy filling, gaining hands-on experience in a classic culinary art.

 

For their final assessment, each student had the opportunity to showcase their skills by making a dish of their choice. This project allowed them to express their creativity and apply the techniques and principles learned throughout the semester.

 

Our Food Technology program continues to inspire students to appreciate global flavours while making mindful and nutritious food choices. We look forward to more delicious adventures in the kitchen next semester!
