As we are in the middle of winter, we are seeing a slight increase of work-related injuries.
- Please keep in mind on colder days:
- Your body is not as flexible / especially first thing in the morning and working outside.
- Your muscles and tendons will take a lot longer the warm-up / wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
- Your reaction time to avoidance is a lot slower / take time to think the process or task through.
- Surfaces are slippery underfoot / wear boot and shoes with good grip.
- Driving conditions are more adverse / slow down, you will have more time if something goes wrong.
