Brisbane North West Trade Training Centre Open Day

Parents and caregivers of Year 10, 11 and 12 students are invited to attend the Brisbane North West Trade Training Centre (BNWTTC) Open Day on Monday, 19 May, from 1:00pm – 6:00 pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the Centre’s state-of-the-art workshops and learn how students gain valuable hands-on experience through Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways. Discover the tools, technology, and training that can open doors to future careers in trades and a variety of industries.

We encourage families to attend and see how practical skills and education come together to support real-world success.

Defence Work Experience Program: Applications Now Open

The Defence Work Experience Program (DWEP) offers students in Semester 2, 2025 the opportunity to explore exciting career pathways within Defence and the Australian Public Service through hands-on, interactive programs.

Upcoming Programs Include:

• Army & Air Force Familiarisation – Gallipoli Barracks & RAAF Base Amberley
• Women in Aviation
• Army Aviation – Swartz Barracks
• Indigenous Youth Program – RAAF Base Amberley

Applications close from 15 June 2025. Spaces are limited, so early applications are encouraged.
