Applications Closing for EVP 2026

We are experiencing record numbers of applications for the Elite Volleyball Program for Year 7 2026. Don't miss your opportunity to join our thriving program! Applications will close on the 15th of May, with trials scheduled for the 4th and 5th of June. If you know any current Year 6 students who might be interested in developing their volleyball skills within our supportive, excellence-focused environment, please encourage them to submit their application soon to secure their place in the trials.

Preparation for Intermediate Schools Cup

Our Year 8, 9, and 10 athletes are in full preparation mode for the upcoming Intermediate Schools Cup. Regular fixtures are being played to ensure our teams are match-ready for this important competition. The Gap State High School will be proudly represented by eight teams across the various divisions, with three teams defending their medal results in the Honours division in 2025. These competitive opportunities are valuable not only for skills development but also for building team cohesion and competitive experience. We look forward to seeing our athletes showcase their abilities and the EVP values at this prestigious event.

Primary School Engagement Growing

We recently hosted our second Come and Try primary school training session with approximately 45 primary school students in attendance. The enthusiasm and energy these young athletes brought to the session was fantastic to see! We are excited about the continued engagement and growth with our local primary schools as we build love for the sport of volleyball in our community. These sessions are a key part of our pathway development, introducing young students to the fundamentals of volleyball and the culture of excellence that defines our program.
