Celebrating International Nurse’s Day

Monday 12 May marked International Nurse’s Day, a time to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of nurses across the world and within our school community.

At The Gap SHS, we are fortunate to have Adrienne, our School-Based Youth Health Nurse, who supports the health and wellbeing of our students each Thursday. Adrienne plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming space where students can talk about their physical and mental health needs with care and confidentiality.

Whether it’s providing guidance, facilitating referrals, or simply being a trusted adult students can turn to, Adrienne is an essential part of our wellbeing network.

We thank Adrienne and all nurses for the compassion, dedication, and expertise they bring to their work every day. Happy International Nurse’s Day!
