Hello and welcome to this edition of the Gap State High School's newsletter. As always, the GAP has been very, very busy doing lots of amazing things.

We're really grateful to everyone who showed up and turned up for the GAP experience a few weeks ago, and I'm incredibly grateful to our P&C who funded this amazing opportunity to have Adair Donaldson. A lawyer who came and spoke to all of our students about their legal rights around many things that impact on young people decision making. We've had brilliant feedback from our staff and our students and how they've really valued the approach that Adair took to share his knowledge around the implications of choices through the legal lens.

Also last week, Pop Arts held an amazing trivia night. It was great to see the hall filled with many, many teams. A bit of a brag, the deputy team won the night, so there you go. They're the team to beat for future opportunities. In terms of facilities, I would like to update you on a few things. N-Block is moving very, very slowly, unfortunately.

So it's a real shame that our music students and our instrumental music students are still having to be diverted to other spaces for their lessons and their learning. But we're hoping that all things being well and with more sunshine and less rain, the roof will be on and we'll be back in N-Block  as soon as possible.

Until next time, thanks for your support. All the best.
