Exciting News:
New Library Book Pickup and Dropoff Service!
We are thrilled to announce an exciting new service that connects our school library with the Korumburra Library (MYLI Community Library)! Now, borrowing books and accessing a wider range of resources has never been easier for our students.
How It Works:
This service is an extension of our school library, giving you more options to find the books you want to read and access a wide range of e-resources. Here’s how it works:
Explore the Korumburra Secondary College Library Collection: If you can’t find what you’re looking for in our school library or on ePlatform, visit myli.org.au and browse the Korumburra Library’s extensive collection of books and resources.
Reserve Online: Once you’ve found the perfect book, reserve it online through the Korumburra Library’s website.
Book Pickup and Return: Once your book is reserved, our school librarian, Ms. Jenkin, will collect/return your books from Korumburra Library each Monday. You’ll be able to pick up your reserved books directly from the school library, and when you’re finished, simply return them here as well!
How to Get Started:
Sign Up for a MYLI Community Library Membership: To take part, you’ll need to sign up for a Korumburra Library membership. Membership forms are available at the school library or you can join online at myli.org.au. Once you’ve filled out your form, you’ll receive your very own library card, unlocking access to thousands of books, audiobooks, and digital resources.
We need your interest and enthusiasm to make this service a success! If we have enough students sign up, we can offer this convenient service that brings the best of both libraries directly to you. So, why wait? Start exploring the world of books and e-resources today and let the adventures begin!
For more details, stop by the school library and chat with Ms. Jenkin about how to get started.
If you are already a MYLI member, please let Ms. Jenkin know and you can take part in this convenient service, numbers permitting.
Happy Reading! 📚

Follow your gut
Follow your gut is a comic that ate a biology textbook. It's an epic adventure set over the first three years of a new life, exploring one of the most important relationships you will ever have - the one with your gut microbiome.
Upon a Starlit Tide
A dark and enchanting fairy tale-inspired historical fantasy combining elements of "The Little Mermaid" and "Cinderella" into a wholly original tale of love, power, and betrayal. While her sisters are busy trying to secure advantageous marriages, Luce spends her days secretly being taught to sail by Samuel, her best friend―and an English smuggler. Only he understands how the waves call to her. Then one stormy morning, Luce rescues a drowning man from the sea.
How to be Normal

Astrid is about to start her last year at high school. And her first.
When her dad loses his job, Astrid’s homeschooling comes to an end. Until now, she has lived within the confines of a tightly controlled, contracted world where there's no room for anything … except following her father’s rules and pretending that everything is normal. As Astrid, and her mum, tentatively expand their world, they struggle to break free of their ingrained wariness and self-doubt. But with hope, new friends, and the strength of a promise, Astrid has a chance to find out what she wants, who she loves, and who she really is.
