From the Principal

I am incredibly proud to congratulate our dedicated staff and Year 5/6 students for their outstanding participation at the Golden Valleys Adventure Camp in Flinders. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the camp’s success. The encouragement, support, and leadership of all staff who attended was instrumental in building positive relationships and creating a safe and nurturing environment for everyone. Our students embraced adventure activities outside their comfort zones with enthusiasm and resilience, demonstrating exemplary behaviour and representing our school with pride. This Year 5/6 camp not only provided valuable learning opportunities but also strengthened positive and inclusive social connections. See page 5 for some camp highlights!

Our recent Mother's Day assembly and morning tea was a heartwarming occasion that celebrated the incredible women in our students' lives. A special thank you to Mrs. Gathercole for her leadership in organising the event and ensuring all students had the opportunity to present and express their appreciation for their mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and special carers. The students did a wonderful job at the assembly, showcasing their gratitude through performances and presentations. Thank you to all the mothers and carers who attended and stayed for the morning tea, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and celebrating the wonderful achievements and contributions of mothers and carers in our community.
