Chess Club!

In Term 2, Chess Club will be running on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.25-4.30. 

It will begin on Tuesday the 29 April, this will be an additional free trial for anyone welcome to join.

Year 3

This term, the Year 3 students have made an excellent start to their learning. 

In STEM and Religious Education, they are exploring the theme of Responsibility by investigating living, non-living, and once-living things, as well as studying the life cycles of different animals and plants. They are also learning about the Sacraments of Initiation and how these help deepen a person's relationship with Jesus. 

In Reading, students are developing their ability to identify the main idea in a text and support it with relevant evidence. In Writing, they are focusing on the correct use of apostrophes, including those for contractions and possession. 

In Mathematics, students are learning about the commutative properties of addition and multiplication, as well as the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction. 

They are also becoming more confident in using Google Classroom to access and manage their learning activities.

Italian Day

Buongiorno a tutti!

The big event Italian Day is coming up in week 10, Wednesday 25th June.

Our theme this year is ‘Ciao Italia. ‘A day filled with everything we love about Italy. There will be an incursion, food, activities and the children will be able to dress up in the Italian colours or anything they love that represents Italy.

Get your costumes ready for a day of fun. Un giorno di festa!

School Uniform

This Term we will transition to our winter uniform. In the first two weeks of Term 2 students can either wear their full Summer uniform or their full Winter uniform. By Monday 5th May it is expected that all students wear their full Winter uniform. 

Please note that school shoes need to be black leather shoes that do not display any branding. If you are purchasing new school shoes over the holidays please make sure that you are purchasing black leather shoes that do not contain any branding.
