SRC Update

On Friday, 16th May, our school proudly participated in Walk to School Day, encouraging students to embrace active travel and reduce their environmental footprint.  To celebrate the occasion, our Student Representative Council showed great initiative by arriving early to present stickers to students who cycled or walked part or all of the way to school.

Adding an educational touch to the event, some SRC members visited classrooms across each stage, delivering engaging presentations on the benefits of walking to school.  Their confidence and clarity in presenting were fantastic to see—giving them a valuable insight into public speaking while inspiring their peers to adopt more active habits.  They also provided classrooms with a range of interactive activities, including posters, colouring sheets, debating tables, and crosswords, ensuring students could explore the theme in engaging and creative ways.

A big well done to our SRC for their leadership and enthusiasm, and to all students who took part.  Every step counts toward a healthier, greener future! 🌏✨
