Religious Education

Aoife Geraghty, Religious Education Coordinator

Last weekend, our Year 6 students took an important step in their faith journey by attending their Confirmation Commitment Mass. Surrounded by their families, teachers, and parish community, the students pledged to prepare their hearts and minds for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

This special Mass marked the beginning of a meaningful journey, as they learn more about the Holy Spirit, deepen their understanding of their faith, and grow closer to God. We keep our Year 6 students in our prayers as they continue this sacred preparation. Please see the below dates for Confirmation formation sessions and Mass.

Mothers Day Liturgy and Breakfast

Despite a little rain, our school community came together to celebrate a joyful Mother’s Day Liturgy and Breakfast. The morning included a beautiful liturgy led by our Year 1 students, who spoke and sang with reverence and heart. Many mothers and special guests joined us for the occasion, enjoying some treats and coffee from our visiting coffee truck. Our Pope Francis students added to the fun by organising games and activities that brought smiles and laughter to the morning. It was a wonderful celebration of the love and care our mothers give every day.
