Athletics Carnival

Last term we had a successful athletics carnival.  Due to the fantastic participation rate not all events were completed.  Please see below when the remaining field events will take place at school (these are guides and may change due to what is happening at the school at the time).  Students will be reminded at assemblies about upcoming events.

If your child doesn't wear sports uniform on the day they are participating, please ensure their sports uniform is in their bag as they will change into this at lunch time.

 

In regards to some of the track events not completed.  We will be deciding on how and when they will be held at a later date as the next carnival isn't until Week 2 of Term 3 .

 

 

Polding Trials

Last Friday we had the following students competing in the Dio Polding Trials at Bathurst. All students performed exceptionally well displaying excellent sportsmanship.

2025 NSWCPS Softball Selections

We also had Annabelle Groves attend the NSWCPS softball selection trials which took place on Wednesday the 30th April at Seven Hills.  Annabelle was luck enough to be selected in the Polding team which will now compete in Blacktown from the 2nd June-5th June.

 

 

 

Cross Country

On Tuesday of this week we had the following students  (Julius Simmons, Koda Ryan, Oscar Gardner, Rose Dellow, Amali Spurr, Harriet Bailey, Harry Vial, Archie Eades, Alfie Griffiths, Poppy Davidson, Sophia Fogarty, Jack Nugent, Edward MvEvoy, Ollie Finnane, Dorothy Johnson, Ava Webb, Niamh Murphy, Charlie Johnson, Edward Burke, Clementine Davidson, Eleanor Shortis and Lulu Eades)  compete at Cross Country in Coolah as part of the Catherine McAuley School team.  

The 11 years boys were successful in winning the teams event.  While Julius and Poppy were succesful in gaining Dio selection.  They will now compete at Eastern Creek in June

 

Well done to all the above students on their higher representative honours.

 

 

Rugby League Gala Day

Tuesday also saw us take over 60 students from Year 3-6 off to Brendon Sturgeon Oval for a fun day of Rugby League.  This is a non competitive day run by the NRL involving both boys and girls.  It was wonderful to see so many of our students enjoying themselves in a friendly atmosphere.
