Dear Students and Families,
Welcome back! We hope you had a restful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for an exciting Term 2. This term brings new opportunities for learning, growth, and connection, and we’re looking forward to building on the great progress made in Term 1.
There’s a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks—new topics to explore, engaging activities, and opportunities to challenge ourselves in and out of the classroom. As always, we encourage everyone to stay curious, work hard, and support one another along the way.
Let’s make Term 2 a rewarding and memorable one!
Thank You and Happy Mother’s Day
A big thank you to our wonderful Kindergarten classes for the lovely assembly this afternoon—it was a joy to see your enthusiasm and hard work on display. You made us all proud!
A special acknowledgement to Mrs Dunn for all she did in the preparation of the liturgy this afternoon and of course the liturgy last week to celebrate the risen Christ.
I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the Grade champions and parent helpers and organisers who contributed to the special Mother’s Day Morning Tea. Your time and effort made the event truly memorable and meaningful for everyone involved. It was terrific to see the dads making sure the mums were celebrated.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish all mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community a very, very happy Mother’s Day. Your love, care, and support make a world of difference every day.
Wishing you a beautiful celebration this weekend!
Welcome Willow Frances
Our lovely Administration Officer Grace McGrath and her husband Tarren welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Willow Frances, to add to their family. I am sure you will join me in congratulating Grace and Tarren, Sacha and August.
School Video
The video that was completed for our website is almost ready to be shared. The first draft I feel, really captures our school. I will share it with you as soon as the final cut is ready.
Enrolments
The enrolment period for 2026 is underway. If you have a little one to enrol or you know of a family who is looking for a school in 2026, please let them know that enrolments are open at Catherine McAuley.
Have a wonderful fortnight
