After-School Supervision: Important Information for Families

We’d like to provide some important information and reminders about our after-school supervision arrangements.

Sibling Supervision Program

We offer a Sibling Supervision Program for students who have older siblings attending the Coaching Parade campus. This program runs each afternoon in Rachael Fankhauser’s Art Room, where students are supervised by our Wellbeing Coordinator, Vicky O’Leary, and our after-school Education Support team. Students remain there until their older sibling finishes school and collects them at approximately 3:25pm.

Please note: This program is only available to students who have an older sibling at the Coaching Parade campus. It is not open to other students.

Big Childcare Program

For families who need broader before or after-school care, we have a Big Childcare program available to all students. This service is run by an external provider, and families must book directly through their Big Childcare website. We strongly encourage families who cannot collect their children at dismissal time to make use of this service.

Student Collection Expectations

To ensure the safety of all students:

  • Students must be collected within 5 minutes of the school day finishing.

  • If a child is not collected on time, and they are not registered in the Sibling Supervision Program or booked into Big Childcare, staff will contact families directly.

  • Please note that office staff are not responsible for student supervision.

If a family is consistently late in collecting their child, the concern will be referred to a Year Level Assistant Principal and/or the Wellbeing team. We will work with families to find appropriate solutions, including access to after-school care or financial assistance where needed.

If you have any questions, or require support, please reach out to your child's Year Level Assistant Principal to discuss further.
