Welcome to Week 9, Term 3 – Newsletter Update

Dear Leongatha Primary School Families,

Welcome to the final week of Term 3! It's hard to believe how quickly this term has flown by, and we’re excited to wrap it up with a few fun events and activities to finish on a high note.

Grade 4 Swimming: This week, our Grade 4 students will be heading to the pool for their swimming lessons. It's a fantastic opportunity for them to develop important water safety skills and improve their swimming abilities. We wish them all the best in the water this week.

AFL Parade and Teachers vs Students Match:We are thrilled to announce our annual AFL Parade, which will be held this Friday morning at 9am. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their favorite AFL team colors or jerseys as we celebrate the spirit of football!

The highlight of the day will be the highly anticipated Teachers vs Students AFL match, which kicks off at 12pm. It's always a fun and competitive event, and we encourage families to come along and cheer on the teams. Who will take home the victory this year?

September School Holidays: As we approach the end of term, we want to wish all of our students and families a safe and happy September holiday. We hope you enjoy some well-deserved rest and time together.

Important Dates:

• Last Day of Term 3: Friday, September 19th, 2:30pm finish.

• Term 4 begins: Tuesday, October 7th, 2025.
