House Captains report on Girls Basketball
Last Thursday, a group of students from year 6 went to Ivanhoe Grammar to participate in the basketball tournament. Our first game was against Ivanhoe Girls Grammar, and we fought hard, but it was tied, 20-20. Next, we were against St. Johns Navy, we all played well but unfortunately, we lost. Our third game was with Mary Immaculate Primary School and our hard work paid off and we won. Fortunately, we got into the Semi-finals against St. Anthony’s, but we lost to them. St. Johns navy ended up winning, but everybody played very hard. Our deserving MVP is Emma, scoring over 20 amazing points. Shout out to Charlotte and Issy who played fantastically and got many interceptions. Thank you to Ms. Harvey and Mr. Mckay for coaching us.
