Reader’s and Writer’s Workshop: Students will be publishing Buddy narrative books. These texts have been drafted, edited and published ready to share with our 1/2 Buddies.  

 

Christian Studies: How do Christians represent the Trinity and use it in their daily lives. Student will be writing descriptions for their Trinity artwork and explore the Apostles creed and what it means for Christians. 

 

Unit of Inquiry: As part of our ‘Who we are’ Unit of Inquiry with the Central idea; “Taking care of our wellbeing helps us to be safe and active members of our community”, we are looking at roles we have in our community.  

 

Mathematics: Students will engage with multiplication and division games and then apply these skills to solve worded problems.  

 

Reminders and information: 

Celebration of Learning: Thanks for your involvement at the Year 3/4 ‘How we organise ourselves’ (COL). It was a great opportunity to share learning and participate in inquiry learning together! 

 

3/4 Excursion: We have an excursion planned to link with our next unit on Sustainability for Week 3, Friday the 31st of October. More details to follow. 

 

Advance notice – Teacher Absences 

Ms Neumann is GETTING MARRIED in the school holidays! So exciting! She’ll be heading on her honeymoon and will be away for Week 1 of Term 4. Mr Salisbury will be covering 3/4NS for the Wednesday and Thursday. 

 

We are also very excited for Mrs Riches to be part of the Mary Poppins production. Due to the commitment of this, she will be away for Week 2 of Term 4. Mrs Lisa Pena will be taking the class for the full week.
