From the Campus Principal's Desk

I am very excited to share with you the findings of a 2024 survey of our Secondary students. The Survey was conducted by CSA (Christian Schools Australia) and Harvard University. The survey explored the practices associated with student flourishing, with a particular focus on Christian practices.
Based upon the data, the following six themes emerged regarding student flourishing in Australian Christian schools:
- Family: Student flourishing and family relationships
- Formation: Student flourishing across the years of secondary school
- Relationships: Student flourishing and belonging
- Learning: Student flourishing and engagement
- Spirituality: Student flourishing and faith formation
- Service: Student flourishing and civic and social engagement
Our students can be shown to be flourishing in every area surveyed. This is a testament to the overtly godly, spirit-filled, and entirely delightful environment that we have here at Christway.
Among the Christian practices, prayer and regular devotions are seen to have the highest impact on flourishing. Those who engaged in regular bible reading also had significantly higher flourishing scores. The survey also found that the students who placed greater importance on spirituality demonstrated significantly higher flourishing scores.
All of this speaks to what we already know… we have a wonderful Christian school here at Christway.
Praise God
