Spotlight on Learning

Dear Foundation Families, 

It was wonderful to welcome all the special people who have a fatherly role in our students lives into our community today. We wanted to thank all those who wore a splash of pink to support the fundraising for Natasha's garden, as a community are hearts are filled. 

Next week on the 10th of September we have our excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, please be alert to any emails or PAM messages which will contain details of the day.

Next week: 

English:  We are learning /ck/ in words like duck or black. 

Mathematics: We are continuing our focus on measurement, looking at mass and capacity. 

Social Emotional Learning: Next week, on the 11th of September. It is R U OK Day, students will learn what R U OK day is and how to make sure someone is ok. 

Integrated: We are continuing our learning of how our bodies grow and change by talking about healthy habits we can do to keep our bodies healthy. 

Auslan:   We will be reviewing all of the signs learnt so far this term, such as tomorrow, yesterday, open and close. 

Religion: We are continuing our focus on the miracles of Jesus. This week we will look at when Jesus calmed the storm.
