King's College Staff Uganda Trip
Earlier this week, a team of five from King's College travelled to Uganda to once again visit Ararat Christian Junior School. They were given a warm welcome with dancing, speeches and an official welcome from school leaders. See footage of this in the video below, produced by Ararat.
The Hello Girls - A Resounding Success!
Congratulations to the incredible cast, crew and volunteers involved in this year’s school production of The Hello Girls! With three packed shows last Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, King's return to the stage was a resounding success.
Students grew in confidence across each of the performances and showed true King's College spirit. It was such a pleasure to enjoy a true celebration of student talent, teamwork, and creativity.
Over 600 tickets were sold for our show, with audiences thrilled by the high quality performances and talented band. The positive feedback from families and members of the wider community has been overwhelming. It is wonderful to see such strong support for the Performing Arts at our school.
The energy and enthusiasm from the students on and off the stage is inspiring. We shared fun and laughter at the cast party. This experience has brought so much joy and connection to our school community.
We would like to thank all staff and community members who gave up their time volunteering and assisting in making our show wonderful. Thank you to the PTFA for providing snacks for us at intermission and selling programmes.
We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and look forward to planning and preparing for future productions at King's College. We would love to hear from you as to your experience as a parent, student or volunteer involved with the show. Any parents or students with feedback or suggestions are encouraged to send me an email at rcassidy@kings.vic.edu.au
